This cozy hostal is a hidden gem! Great location at the start of the Ruta del Cares, it offers comfortable rooms and friendly service. The delicious, affordable dinner steals the show, with options for a hearty meal after a day of hiking. Plus, the fine views.

The staff were all very very helpful and decent. The vibe here was quiet.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the well-organised room with private bathroom. Location: the hotel was not far from many great walks as well as the hikes. Btw, it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from South Florida Fair.

The location was ideal for accessing multiple hiking trails, and I appreciated the warm atmosphere created by the friendly staff. Dinner for just €12 was an excellent value .

The staff was very helpful, helped a lot. This hotel was located in a central area adjacent to an old bridge which crosses a river which has been dammed, and the national park.

This accommodation was in the remote location on a long hike. What's more, it was just next door to beautiful area, and the banks. The twin room we stayed in was big size with a shared bathroom.

The location near the Ruta del Cares hike amazed me. It made starting my hiking days easy. I enjoyed the excellent value in the dinner menu with two courses, dessert, and a bottle of wine for just 12 euros. My room was very clean and the amenities, like the tv, were a nice touch. I did experience some noise issues, especially with door slamming in the early morning hours that interrupted my sleep. The shared shower lacked a towel stand, made things a bit awkward.

The mattress sagged badly in the Twin Room. Showers had weak pressure that barely delivered. One bar of soap felt more like a gimmick than a necessity. Be prepared for noise as door slamming in the early morning got in the way of quality rest.

The location is perfect for accessing the Ruta del Cares and is close to the funicular to Bulnes. The fine mountain views enhance the experience, and the nearby turquoise river is refreshing after hiking. The affordable dinner menu offers fresh local dishes that are a highlight of the stay.

Perfect base camp for walking the Cares Trail or up to the village of Bulnes. Rooms were very clean, as were the bathrooms located in the corridor. The staff were accommodating, even providing breakfast for us after we overslept, a nice surprise!
